In 1981, Timothy Priano began his career as a hair and makeup agent while working with esteemed hairstylists Garren and Thom Priano. After successfully managing their careers while elevating their profiles, Timothy decided to open his own agency, ARTISTS by Timothy Priano, in 1986. A Los Angeles division of the agency opened in 2000.

Timothy's reputation as an agent that protected his talent while pushing them to the next level immediately attracted such luminaries as Laura Mercier, Oscar Blandi and Francois Nars. His work with these highly regarded artists led to the representation of such revered and respected talent as Elle and Brigitte Reiss-Andersen. This relationship led to a 2006 merger with WHO IN Canada and their international territories in Paris and London.
