Roger Moenks
German-born photographer Roger Moenks is a celebrity and fashion photographer who has called New York City home for almost twenty years. Best known for his portraits, Moenks has published three books: The First Class of Click, in which he directed models from the Click Model Agency in stylized scenes; Moving Still, in which he captured dancers from American Ballet Theatre in their own intimate moments; and Inheriting Beauty, which features 90 women from around the world who are at the forefront of society and industry, including Roberta Armani, Delphine Arnault, Kiera Chaplin, Francesca Versace and many more.
In addition, Moenks created the images for “Exhibition” (in cooperation with UNICEF and Montblanc). Here, Moenks photographed 12 leading actresses (including Susan Sarandon, Sienna Miller, Emily Blunt, Andie MacDowell, and Helen Hunt ) for a
collection of portraits that were taken on tour by Sotheby’s, and ultimately sold at auction where it nearly raised a quarter of a million dollars.
