BIO

Alejandra is a hairstylist with an appreciation for aesthetics and a passion for beauty. Her innate talent comes from her exposure to the world of fine arts having spent years in her father's painting studio. Alejandra's father, a protégée of the famous Mexican muralist Diego Rivera, has been her inspiration. Her style is contemporary and sculptural with a versatility that allows Alejandra to capture the essence of a client's needs. Alejandra began working in the salon industry as a teenager. As she perfected her skills, Alejandra explored opportunities to express and expand her creativity. She launched her freelance career several years ago and with this Alejandra relocated to New York City. Her work has been featured in many publications including Glamour, GQ, Vogue, L'Uomo Vogue, and Nylon. Alejandra's celebrity clientele have included Mariah Carey, Alicia Silverstone, Woody Harrelson and, President Barack Obama. Alejandra's enthusiasm for her work has always been part of her life and evident in her creations.
