Over 20 years ago, Oscar left Naples to bring his Italian methods of haircare to the United States. Growing up amongst a family of stylists, he immersed himself in the business at just 14 years old in the back of his father’s salon. He later attended art school to gain a diverse perspective and unique sense of detail.
After a few years in the U.S., Oscar opened a salon on Madison Avenue and quickly became one of the most sought-after stylists in New York and Hollywood. Some of his loyal celebrity clients include Jennifer Garner, Julianna Margulies, Rosario Dawson, Faith Hill and Kelly Ripa.
In 2005, Oscar launched the prestige haircare Oscar Blandi Product line. His treatments and styling solutions are inspired by his Italian heritage and passion for hair. In 2007, he launched his groundbreaking Pronto Dry Shampoo, which established his reputation as an innovator in the category. Oscar is continuously working with his team to handcraft luxurious and nourishing new products that combine the best ingredients and deliver the ultimate in performance and innovation.
Oscar’s desire is to provide his clients products that recreate his salon experience at home and give them the tools to address everyday hair concerns, easily and effortlessly. The result is gorgeous, sophisticated hair that makes them feel beautiful inside and out.
