Synonymous with creating glamour, high fashion and timeless beauty, Patrick Melville is recognized as one of the top stylists and educators in the industry for over twenty years. Patrick began his career in London for British Vogue. His work has since graced the pages of Vogue, W, ELLE, Harper's Bazaar and O, The Oprah Magazine and he has collaborated with such top editorial photographers as Patrick Demarchelier, Gilles Bensimon, Kurt Marcus, Peggy Sirota, and Walter Chin, among others.

 

Upon moving to New York City, Patrick joined the creative team at the renowned Pipino Buccheri Salon. He then served as Creative Director of Warren-Tricomi for five years. In July 2007, Patrick unveiled his first independent salon and spa, The Patrick Melville Salon and Spa, at the world’s finest sports and fitness complex The Sports Club/LA at Rockefeller Center. The eponymous beauty destination boasts a serene environment, featuring rotating art exhibitions and a sleek, earthy design thematic. The salon and spa is home to exquisite hair cutting, a full-service color bar, luxury manicure and pedicures, waxing, acupuncture, facials, body treatments and massages as well as organic and reconstructive hair treatments.

 

Patrick's signature haircuts, such as The Firefly and the Long Short Cut, have gained him an extensive celebrity following. Ranging from red-carpet and award show appearances to magazine covers and ads, Patrick has styled Brooke Shields, Carrie Underwood, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Demi Moore, Eva Longoria, Glenn Close, Gretchen Mol, Halle Berry, Harry Connick Jr., Heidi Klum, Hillary Duff, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Mandy Moore, Mariska Hargitay, Mark Wahlberg, Molly Sims, Nicole Ritchie, Petra Nemcova, Rosario Dawson, Sharon Stone, Sting and Tom Cruise, among others.
