Casey Cheek

Casey discovered her passion for makeup and hair at age 12, while watching her grandmother, a hairstylist for many years. Even at this young age, Casey performed many hairstyles and makeup applications. Casey couldn't wait to get her Cosmetology License, so she did as soon as possible. She then went on to work at several local salons and enjoyed every minute.

Looking for a different challenge, Casey attended makeup school in Orlando, Florida, and began her career as a makeup artist. Her first job out of school was as an artist at The Home Shopping Network. This opportunity helped her to realize her talent and passion lay in the world of production and creativity.

Casey moved to Los Angeles and furthered her education at Makeup Designory in Burbank, California. She next attained her California cosmetology license, while continuing to retain her Florida license.

Episodic television was intriguing to Casey, so she set out to work on several different television shows and honed her skills as both a makeup artist and hairstylist. This led her to a great opportunity with E! Entertainment. Casey did both hair and makeup for E! News and many other shows and red carpet events.

After six years with E!, Casey decided to return to the freelance world and widen her career opportunities.
Currently living in Florida, she continues to constantly educate herself on all of the latest trends and techniques in her field. She believes if you're open to learning at least one new tip or trick on every project, you will be an ever-growing, ever-changing artist.
