BIO

Beth Fricke’s skill, attention to detail and trend-setting style has established her as one of the most prominent manicurists in the fashion, beauty and entertainment industries. Fricke earned her manicuring license at the age of 18 in her hometown of Kansas City. After working at local full service salons doing acrylics, she studied Journalism and Radio/TV production at the university. She then moved to German on scholarship to further her studies.

Combining her background in manicuring and production, Fricke relocated to Los Angeles where she spent 5 years in music video and commercial production. Since, she has expanded her portfolio of work, having done covers for such prestigious magazines as Elle, Deutsch Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, Nylon, Redbook, Angeleno and Black Book. She has developed an impressive celebrity roster including Drew Barrymore, Sheryl Crow, Heidi Klum, Mariska Hargitay, Miranda Kerr, Christina Ricci, Mariah Carey and Lindsay Lohan.

 

Fricke is currently serving as an OPI Celebrity Manicurist. Additionally, she has contributed to various publications on emerging trends and nail care including Glamour, 944, US Weekly and Genlux. Additionally, Fricke has contributed to the upcoming beauty book by Riku Campo, BEST IN BEAUTY: An Ultimate Guide to Makeup and Skincare Techniques, Tools and Products, to be released August 2010.

Fricke resides in Los Angeles, and works bi-coastally.
