Sue Nam

BIO

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Sue Nam has always been infatuated with art, fashion, sports, beauty and color.  After moving to the Chicago at an early age, and then onto New York in her mid-teens, Nam has always worked as a nail technician while continuing her studies.  After earning dual degrees in Business and Criminal Justice from St. John’s University, Nam decided to open her own salon in Long Island, which she successfully ran for over 20 years before moving to the Upper West Side to open Polished Beauty Bar with her sister.

 

Nam has become known as one of the top manicurists in and out of the salon, having worked with top beauty editors, celebrities and editorial publications.  Clients include such talent as Charlize Theron, Ellen Pompeo, Reese Witherspoon and Leighton Meester, as well as such publications as Elle, Glamour, Marie Claire, Maxim, Tatler andSeventeen.

 

Nam currently resides in New York City, where she continues to reign as one of the top artists in her industry.
