Upon completion of an associate degree in Fashion Merchandising, Cristina Forestieri started assisting stylists in Miami, Florida in 1991. Later that year, she became a part of the first prop house in Miami Beach, Non Stop Prop Shop, where she sourced props for clients until 1995. After a stint at Parsons School of Design in New York, she enrolled full time at the University of Florida, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Costume and Set Design in 1999.
Since then, she has worked in Miami as a Prop and Set Stylist for editorial, catalog, advertising, and commercials. Cristina's strength is in sourcing vintage pieces, along with using her artistic skills to personalize props through painting, sewing or distressing.
